Last September I saw this book online and knew I wanted to read it, but I spend way too much on books and decided to get it from the library.
Two pages in, I gave up and bought the book. I’m a margin-writer, and I knew immediately that I couldn’t possibly read this book without writing all over the pages.
In 2018 author
and a friend needed motivation to meet a writing deadline so they set out to write 1000 words a day for 2 weeks — and they invited Jami’s online community to join them. And a whoooole bunch of people did.And so now they do it every year, and it keeps getting bigger and bigger.
I’m joining in this year. How about you? It goes from Saturday, May 31 (two days from now) to Friday, June 13, and I’m SO FREAKING EXCITED.
I have several book ideas, and I’m not sure which one to pursue next, so I’m going to use these 2 weeks to just write write write and see where my muse takes me.
Speaking of my muse taking me places, this book is where she took me most recently. It’s a limited edition — only 100 in existence — and 95 have been claimed. Let me know if you want one.

So what do you think? Want to write 1000 words a day for 2 weeks with me??
This book and challenge are what I need to jumpstart my goals. I’m out of town right now and will start on Monday.
I’m in!!
