There’s no bigger God-talker than a man who cheats on his wife and abandons his kids.

I’m working on a memoir about my marriage. Not just the cheating and the divorce, but the whole dang thing. I’m cracking open old journals and unfolding 160+ notes/letters we wrote to each other while we were dating. (phew)

Writing a book is already a pretty solitary/lonely thing, especially when you’re writing about something only you can write, so I’m sharing bits and pieces of things as I go. Your feedback encourages me to keep on keeping on, and you’ve given me a lot of ideas (directly and indirectly) as well.

Few things irritate me more than people who do shitty things and then gush about God in hopes of making others think they’re actually honorable, decent people.

And we’re seeing a LOT of it these days. Pastors, presidents, ex-husbands, people in this administration.

And people fall for it. The number of people who think Donald Trump is a godly man is WILD. I hate it.
