These people act like people like you and me haven't spent a shit ton of our time arguing with them. There's only so much free emotional labour I'm willing to do for those who refuse to understand.
Also just found you accidentally on IG and came over here immediately because you sound just like my people.
The answer to the question posed in another Pete Seeger song (Where have all the flowers gone?) - When will they ever learn? - for today's Republican party the answer appears to be never.
This is a useful perspective. I’m usually opposed to echo chambers, but that’s down to the nature of discussion within them that is often linked to defensiveness.
You’ve highlighted some potential positives that come from echo chambers, such as rejecting conversations that aren’t subjectively expansive or might be a waste of time.
If you have the time, would you be able to read my article? I am a 17yo student trying to improve my writing so any feedback helps greatly.

Amen. I have lived in that world. A lack of understanding isn’t the problem. I’m going to be free.
Me too. 🫶🏼
To paraphrase the Pete Seeger war protest song, MAGAmaniacs are knee deep in the Big Muddy and when the Big Fool says push on, deeper they go.
Yeah. 😔
