life update

Hi, y’all. As a reminder, I save a good bit of my vulnerability for this semi-private space known as the paid side of Substack.

It feels safe because I know who’s reading, and I’m assuming that 98% of people paying for a subscription are doing it because they like me, not so they can hate-read lol.

I do realize that it’s not something everyone can afford. I used to pay for 15 subscriptions and had to cut it down to 7. It will break my heart if I have to cut any more.

If you have $5/month to spare and want to support a single mom/writer/artist (me!), I’d be honored. If you don’t, I get it (believe me), and you’re not missing much. (yes, I said that just to make you feel better)
