Did I tell you about the time I met Mychal Threets at a library conference? I got to chat with him one-on-one for a bit and give him a copy of my new book, what makes you FART?

(I did not literally fart when I gave him my book, but that’s a classic example of something that would make me fart.)

After our chat, he was the keynote speaker, and it’s been a minute since I enjoyed a keynote address as much as this one.

The topic was Library Joy, which is basically code for What Makes Marla Fart.

I took notes furiously on my phone and I’m going to share some of them here.
