I learned about infixes in 6th grade French class. Apparently they are more common in other languages, and the only English examples my teacher could think of were "abso-fucking-lutely" and "in-fucking-credible." He didn't actually say fuck to a bunch of eleven year olds, but his meaning was clear and I'm guessing every single one of us still remembers what an infix is.
