Hi, friends! It’s a rare Sunday post from me. And not a poem! I want to invite y’all to participate in something really special.
A month-long publish-a-book-of-poetry workshop in April (National Poetry Month).
My friend
and I have both self-published books of poetry, and people pay us to help them publish their books too. So we decided to team up and help more people in a way that’s more affordable for them (you) but we also get fair pay for our labor.
We’re doing an informational meeting on IG live (@marlataviano and @tayler_made_books) TONIGHT, Sunday, March 10, at 7:00pm ET. If you’d like an email reminder and/or the link to the live after it’s over, DM your email address.
Even if the book you want to publish is prose, not poetry, I think you’ll get soooo much out of this workshop. (Take this from a girl who once turned a book of prose that just wasn’t working into a book of poems that very much worked.)
Our practical advice and guidance will be pretty great, but the support and community is what makes Poet to Published invaluable.

I have had a notebook with my title and some scattered poems here and there but I’ve not been writing down the embodied experience over the last few years. Oh how I long to get back to it and desire to publish a poetry book someday. You inspire me and I am so grateful for you and other voices that help me find my words and that tell me my words matter
