what I read for fun in the late 80s

memoirs by pregnant girls
who saved their babies

by going to Jerry Falwell’s
home for teen moms

and novellas about teens
with cancer and diabetes

and random fundamentalist
evangelical christian books

from my parents’ shelves
but it’s fine, no harm done,

I turned out fine, it’s fine
I’M FINE

*

From there, I moved on to Christian fiction and self-help marriage/parenting books (AND THEN I WROTE SOME OMG).

Needless to say, my reading habits have, um, evolved. And I’m super excited to talk to my friend

Trey Ferguson
about it on Tuesday evening. WE WOULD LOVE FOR YOU TO JOIN US. Click here to register. (and let me know you’re coming!!)

I read books about teens surviving the holocaust but not having sex before marriage because THAT WOULD BE THE WORST.

Also, Frank Peretti. I am totally fine.
