You're welcome! It was fun to hear you. I realized I hadn't ever watched you with sound on or anything so I didn't know what your voice sounded like. Now I feel like I know you better. 😊
I love you. I love that you are always honest and authentic. 🩵 The wrestle is real, to live intentionally and have time for it all.
I am working on scheduling, and exactly how to make it all work, and have some ideas maybe developing? Including scheduling and time-blocking. Everything, even online engagement time, gym time, etc. Figuring out a "balanced" schedule for the week that has everything I want on it - including making art! - scheduling it , time blocking each thing, and going to see how it goes. Will keep you updated.
I think it's inevitable that we each have an attention 'trade deficit' with some people and a surplus with other people, especially in the digital world. And some of us humans will naturally draw more attention to ourselves, for better or worse. I've heard it said that in a socialist (as opposed to communist) society anybody can be rich, but nobody should be poor - applying that to the economy of attention, I'd say that anybody can be famous, but nobody should be forgotten. My friend, you are someone who does not forget people!
Social media is so ai saturated, stories so algorized (word I made up) it feels pointless to even partake of any of it these days. I appreciate your work so much. In a sea of uniformity, you stand out with a unique, humorous, authenticity.
I heard this recently: “when we lift others up, we are the best versions of ourselves.”
I read a ton of audiobooks, and there are some super famous narrators that everyone talks about. So I’ve been really trying to amplify ones I never see getting accolades online. It’s led to a really sweet and meaningful (to me, anyway!) friendship with me and two narrators.
I may not get any likes on my posts, but I make them feel good.
I love this so much, Ashley!! I think I have some free audiobook codes for one of my books if you want one. I had two different narrators and they’re not well known and both super cool. 🩵
I’ve been having similar thoughts, and I appreciate your way with words about this! I also don’t know what that looks like or how to make it happen, but I want to try. Let’s try together!
Feel this. Very much.
No thoughts except that I 100% resonate with all of this. Thanks for putting it to words.
Thank you, friend! (and thanks for hopping on my IG live!)

Friend, you are so, so kind. I love this with everything in me. I did an IG live this afternoon and read/commented on your comment. THANK YOU!!!

Thank you thank you thank you, friend. So much!!
Something I've been pondering as well. No answers, just an affirmative nod and a cheers to great conversations on Substack.
Thank you, friend. Grateful for you. 🩵
Grateful for you too. 💚
I barely look at IG posts any more. I look at stories but there’s so may it just becomes overwhelming.
Soooooo overwhelming. 😟
I’ve had similar thoughts, and I definitely struggle with these things! Guess most of us do, it’s just not something we talk about much.
I want to talk about it. 😁
