snow thank you we just got a rare fall of snow down here in South Carolina it was fun for the day but I wasn’t sad to see it go snow / marriage / church did them for decades, some good stuff for sure but also so / much / work the grief outweighed the joy it was time for them to go
Michigan girl here! I am so torn about snow. It is quite scary to drive in sometimes, but it's also beautiful and helps keep the climate here quite temperate.
As a kid in England I sometimes had to walk to school in the snow - one time I got there and then fainted when I started to warm up. And after 20 years in Southern California I have gotten used to mild winters!
Georgia, and team sNOw thank you! We’ve already received a couple nights of freezes, so I’m wondering if we will eventually get snow where there usually isn’t any. 😵💫
We're having a pretty intense snowfall right now and at this time of year I love it, and was expecting to see it when I got up this morning. What was less expected was the truck that drove straight into the telephone pole outside our house, knocked it down, and now the power's out. While it's still snowing. (The only good thing is I have a semi-prepper husband so we do have a generator.)
I live in Indiana (Indy specifically, where it gets cold in January and February, but doesn’t snow as much as folks think), and I’m TEAM MO SNOW!!!!!!!!
Pennsylvania. And I’m in between. With 40 around the corner, shoveling isn’t what it used to be. Im about to go shovel some right now because it snowed the one day we HAVE to leave the house. Bummer!
I feel you. I live in the bluest part of red SC so it’s not too bad. Just the archaic laws being passed and such. 😜 But my neighborhood had 11 Harris signs to 1 Trump sign this fall so I’m not alone. 💙
I grew up in Northern California, and hadn't owned anything warmer than a hoodie sweatshirt since high school, when the family moved to northern Illinois the year I turned 40. Talk about weather shock! The "warm coat" I bought that year was a flannel lined denim jacket. I really thought that would keep me warm enough. Over the New Year weekend that first winter we had a storm drop over 2 feet of snow. Pro tip: A flannel lined denim jacket is not warm enough for a Chicago area winter.
25+ years later I'm in northern Indiana and we are in the midst of the first substantial snowstorm of the season. I've learned not to be terrified of driving in the snow but I definitely don't like it.
I'm team "It is so pretty to look at from inside a warm house," but I put up with it because this is where I live now. I tell myself it will be over soon -- soon is, of course, relative. Not soon as in "I'll have another cup of coffee soon," but as in "If I could read for 8 hours every day, I'll get through my TBR shelf soon" Ummm, it might be here forever.
I drove in the snow for almost 25 years and never got not terrified of it lol. I also slid on the ice and ended up stranded in a ditch in high school, so that didn't help.

So beautiful! (and yes scary!)

Oh no! Poor little Paul!

Yes!! I has gotten down in the 20s. Brrrrr!!
Snow Thank You.
We moved to VA a year ago after living in the greater Boston Area for 44 years.
I hated the cold, snow and long winters.
It snowed 1x in Virginia last winter, and it was just a light dusting.
Totally happy with Team Snow Thank You.
SAME!!
We got a dusting this morning, plus it feels like 0* outside! Ya miss west central Ohio yet?!?!!? (I'm team I don't care as long as I have sunshine!!)
I DO NOT. For many reasons lol.
MN ❤️ snow
I'm glad you love it!

Nooooooo. See? So much can go terribly wrong!! Glad you have a generator!
I, too, am glad. Alas it did nothing for internet and we’re not getting even a temporary fix on that until Sunday. 😑
I’m sorry. 😔
I mean…it’s not the end of the world, clearly. But thank you. 😄

You meant M as in MO, not N as in NO, right? lol
Yep, MO = MORE!!!🥹❄️ (in my defense, I grew up in Knoxville, TN, and just never got as much snow as I wanted).
I assumed. 🤣 I’ve had cars buried under two feet of snow and lost power for two weeks in an ice storm and ended up in a ditch once so I have trauma. 😅
Oh no! Now, I did slide off the road in Virginia with my pregnant sister in the car, so I definitely don’t like driving in the snow😬

Any of your kids like to shovel?
I live in Utah but planning to move to PNW by summer. I’m over the snow & the Red State nightmare

Indiana. We not only get the system snow, but also lake effect from Lake Michigan. I enjoy looking at it but not interacting (shoveling/driving).
It's definitely pretty!!
