worth every minute the only thing I don’t love about writing books is that it takes me hours and hours and hours and days and days and days and weeks weeks weeks months months months, sometimes years to write one and then you read it in 55 minutes also now that I’ve made writing a book sound so arduous (which it is) I think it would be amazing if you wrote one I know not everybody needs to tell their story in book form but if you do, hit me up I’d love to read it
Haven't written a book, but one thing I love about your books of poetry is there's all sorts of space for me to write my own thoughts/poetry in the margins, often as a response to your words. :)
I don't know when you'll have an audiobook of unbelieve available - soon, I hope - but I'm sure that Kim will be reading it (aloud) for more than 55 minutes. I know that's quite different than reading silently for yourself but it's how poems are supposed to be read anyway!
Yeah, fingers crossed - I'd like to put a line in the script to tell our audience that if they don't hear their favorite poem in the show they should get the audiobook!
I wrote now very-out-of-date books about Photoshop ... and I will not be offended if you don't read it, haha!! (The Photoshop Anthology, published by SitePoint, and then Photoshop CS6 Unlocked as a revised edition.)
I'm not sure many or any of my books are exactly your vibe, but I'd be super honored to have you read any of them if you were so inclined! Currently (you probably know this) I'm trying to wrangle a book deal from someone for my narrative nonfiction/devotional book about Simon becoming Peter via interaction with Jesus. But I also have two novels out, one traditionally published, and one self published. These are they:
Trees in the Pavement - https://itsajennstore.etsy.com/listing/1438233838 A novella about a refugee girl in London in the 90's. (Fiction influenced by my experience of working with refugees in London in the 90's.)
Favored One - https://itsajennstore.etsy.com/listing/1452432773 A first person novel about Miryam the mother of Yeshua. In it I don't try to imagine what she herself was like, but instead how *I* would have experienced the stories in the Gospels if I were her.
Thanks for asking!
As for NaNoWriMo--even though both of my published works are fiction, it's been a long time since I've written any, so I've bitten the bullet and committed to NaNo this year for the first time in about 12. Annnnd...I am discovering that getting back into it is hard.

The audiobook will only happen if a.) I sell a ton of copies of unbelieve or b.) the jaded audiobook starts selling better. (fingers crossed!)

Why are you so smart?? (yeah, I probably won't read them, but I'm so proud of you!!)
That poetry book for poetry art sounds amazing!
Thank you, friend! I'm excited about it!
In January I self-published a book of essays that build into a short memoir. I split it into four themes: Growth, Motherhood, Change, and Healing. I just republished it so that I could get it listed in more places than just Amazon (I discovered it last night on the Barnes and Noble website), but here is the Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CM7Q9FQM/ref=sr_1_2?crid=1CEM1ZQFEKMJY&keywords=embracing+the+journey+styf&qid=1698862543&sprefix=embracing+the+journey+styf%2Caps%2C77&sr=8-2
Congrats!! And yes, it's so much better to have it on multiple platforms.
No book yet, but maybe some day. I absolutely love your idea for nanowrimo!
Thank you!! And YES to someday!!

This is so interesting, friend! Thanks for sharing! And I did know about your current project. :) GOOD LUCK with NaNoWriMo!
Thank you!! :-)
I so relate to this! I’ve written a book of poems about my faith deconstruction and am working on a memoir about it now!
Love this, Katie!!
